Once more I find myself telling people that naturism is a great thing and how good it is now that the weather has turned for the better. I have to clarify too what naturism isn’t and why naturists should be respected just like every other member of the human race. I enjoy naturism, I love being naked, it makes me feel alive and most important it makes me feel good about myself. During the past few weeks we’ve managed to go for a couple of naked walks, been to our local club and also been naked at home too. Could I live a naked life ? Yes definitely…. Will I ? Probably not, because so much of society can’t handle seeing a naked body ,even though they’ve got one of their own, which they see at least once, every day of their life.
The perception of naturists as odd people is totally wrong, there are more odd people in your own street, there’s probably more odd people in your local high street or in a local pub. The perception of naturist clubs/camps is totally wrong too. What happens when you go to a naturist club ? You take your clothes off yes, but what else happens….nothing. The perception or the false image that naturists are in it for some sexual reason is also,so far from the truth its laughable. All a naturist club is if you like is a leisure centre in a big garden. Nearly all have a pool, nearly all have some sort of tennis/badminton court and other sports facilities too, they are also a place to relax in as well. The reason they tend to be hidden away, tends to be because like I said before most people “just can’t handle seeing a naked body” not the other way around that, “naturists don’t like being seen”.
On our naked walks nothing happens other than us walking naked, when we go to the beach nothing happens except we swim and sunbathe naked…that’s all there is. We take photos to record the moments yes, that’s all. There are no other….”nudge, nudge, wink, wink” photos, other than outtakes of the ones you see. I like photography as a hobby but I’m not into taking sex shots. As naturists we aren’t swingers, we don’t go dogging and we certainly don’t expose ourselves in a sexual way…so what’s the problem ?
It’s certainly not our problem !
I post what I do in this blog to hopefully convert others to the naturist lifestyle and to show people that the naked body isn’t something to be ashamed off. I also hope that it portrays the enjoyment that we have when we choose to take off our clothes.
