Well we’re nearing the last day of February (todays the 27th) and its gloriously sunny outside if a little bit cold. So far 2015 has dragged a little mainly because I’ve still no job, money is tight, but also because the winter weather shows little signs of receding, which means we’ve still a long way to go until we experience real naturist weather.
I don’t know about you but finding things to do on dark winter evening other than watch the TV tends to send me stir crazy, even social media is becoming a little boring. Things are not helped by the tedious programmes which the television companies seem fit to call entertainment, in the end we always go back to the same channels and end up watching Restoration Man, Amazing Spaces, Grand Designs or Football (that’s Soccer to the uninitiated non UK people).
” When is Spring coming ???”
The first three mentioned programmes, always give me inspiration to want to go out and start improvements on our only piece of real estate we actually own the ‘Cabinchaletshed’, but that’s difficult without spending a fortune. Being a recent recruit to the recycling bug, I try to think of things we can recycle and use, but my mind often comes up blank. Isn’t it just typical when you’ve a ton of stuff to use, you have nothing to use it on and when you want stuff, you haven’t anything.
This weekend many naturist in Britain are trekking North (from here anyway) to congregate at the early year BN event, this annual gathering is in Blackpool . This year improved hotel, facilities have been organised at the Hackett’s York House Hotel, it is cheaper too and includes entry to the Sandcastle Waterpark and nightly entertainment. Unfortunately we wont be there but hope all those going have a good weekend.
Finally, I have to thank all my followers and readers for visiting my blog and regularly increasing the sites monthly statistics. I do try to keep things in the naturist context, but here in England the weather does have a big bearing on what you do and where you go.
Occasionally I have to digress a little into Green, Photography and other topical matters. I have also posted more regularly in the last six months, but for a naturist blog to have its best monthly hits figure in a winter month (February) is encouraging that the ‘naturist word’ is getting out there….Thanks once again !
